Empowering Heritage! Celebrating the Conclusion of the AICS Shobak Training Program. The University of Florence, in collaboration with the Department of Antiquities of Jordan (DoA), is pleased to announce the successful completion of the training program related to the project Programme to Support Socio-Economic Recovery in the Protected Area of Shobak Castle (funded by AICS – Italian Agency for Development Cooperation). The program concluded with the final course, Archaeological Documentation for Jordanian Sites, which began on October 28, 2024, and ended on December 1, 2024.

Fortifying History: Shobak's Medieval Treasures Undergo Structural Interventions. Amman (Jordan).
