The course, designed to enhance skills in cultural heritage presentation, museum design, and in the assessment of social values associated with heritage, was attended by five dedicated trainees. Under the expert guidance of qualified trainers, including Professor Michele Nucciotti, Professor Reem al Shqour, Dr. Arianna De Falco, and Dr. Elisa Broccoli, participants engaged in both online lectures and in-person sessions held in Jordan.
A significant component of the course involved the active participation of the trainees in the enhancement project for Shobak Castle. This hands-on project focused on creating new signage for the archaeological site, taking into account not only the historical and cultural significance but also the social values associated with the castle, as identified through social media analysis.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants were awarded certificates of participation, acknowledging their commitment and newly acquired expertise in cultural heritage and museum design.
The University of Florence, AICS, and DOA extend their heartfelt congratulations to the trainees. This course not only fostered academic growth but also promoted cultural exchange and collaboration in the field of heritage preservation.
