This course introduced modern archaeological (stratigraphic) approaches for interpreting historical phenomena within specific territories and regions from a long-term perspective. Participants were trained in essential theories and practices for recording and analyzing data related to stratigraphic contexts and landscape interpretation, as well as supervising archaeological fieldwork. The training was conducted by three expert trainers: Professors Michele Nucciotti and Domenico Lo Vetro, and Dr. Chiara Marcotulli and Marianna De Falco. It was attended by four trainees, including two local community professionals and two DoA representatives, who participated in both classroom lessons and fieldwork-based workshops and activities.
At the conclusion of the course, participants were awarded certificates of participation, recognizing their dedication and newly acquired expertise in archaeological documentation public archaeology.

With the completion of this final course, the University of Florence proudly celebrates the successful conclusion of the entire training program under the AICS-Shobak project. The program comprised five training courses and workshops delivered by trainers appointed by the University of Florence and was attended by a total of 35 participants. These included DoA representatives from Amman and local offices, local community professionals, BA and MA students and graduates.
