Empowering Heritage! Celebrating the Conclusion of the AICS Shobak Training Program

The University of Florence, in collaboration with the Department of Antiquities of Jordan (DoA), is pleased to announce the successful completion of the training program related to the project Programme to Support Socio-Economic Recovery in the Protected Area of Shobak Castle (funded by AICS – Italian Agency for Development Cooperation). The program concluded with the final course, Archaeological Documentation for Jordanian Sites, which began on October 28, 2024, and ended on December 1, 2024.

Wadi Mousa, Jordan – May 19, 2024 – The University of Florence, in collaboration with the Italian  the Department of Antiquities of Jordan (DOA), proudly announces the successful completion of the six-week course titled "Site Presentation and Museum Design: Cultural Heritage and Social Media", part of the Program to Support the Socio-Economic Recovery in the Protected Area of Shobak Castle (funded by AICS – Italian Agency for Development Cooperation), commenced on March 11 and concluded on May 19, 2024.
